I can’t believe it is two years since the start of our wee journey to having our own wee cabin in the woods. As a young girl I remember stories of my Uncle’s hut up near Aberfoyle then in West Kilbride. Although I didn’t realise it at the time, but as a child I remembered writing stories about secret places, hidden gardens and the magic of nature. I was always a muddy wee lass, with knees scratched up and bruises from building dens, wandering into the fields and forests and finding ways to connect with nature. Writing this is making me realise that this adventure was mapped out long before I was ever aware of it.
Congratulations on your new (but also old) adventure. No better way to practice social distancing, I think, than in a cabin.
